NOW – Night of Worship

At First Alliance Church, we believe that worship leads to prayer. In an effort to align ourselves with what God has been calling us to; we have started gathering corporately on Wednesday evenings. During this time we worship, hear from God, and pray His heart.

Prayer times begin at 6pm, however this is a come and go as you need to opportunity. Come for an hour or stay for 3.

Spiritual Formation

At First Alliance, we believe that genuine spiritual formation is the movement of the Holy Spirit in our lives to continually shape us into the image of Jesus Christ. This begins with a deepening intimacy with God and an overflowing sense of compassion for others.

We cooperate with this work of the Holy Spirit through practices (disciplines, prayer, meditation on God’s word and worship) that make us more open and responsive to the voice of God. We also embrace our role in the Holy Spirit’s plan to restore the Body of Christ to its true place as a witness of Christ’s love and work in a broken and hurting world.

“Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind and, love your neighbor as yourself. By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.” Luke 10:27, John 13:35

Small Groups

At FAC our small groups are designed to provide the opportunity for us to “make Sunday work on Monday morning”. They offer a place to connect and grow through the Word of God while experimenting with ways to practically apply it to our lives. We believe that the success of our growth hinges upon a believer being connected to both God and a genuine sense of belonging with others in the group. The small group must truly become like family; authentic in relationships and strong in support for one another.

The Rock

The Rock is a discipleship experience available if you desire to build up your life in Christ in a deeper way. If you lack a solid foundation in this walk of faith or if your foundation has some “holes” in it, then this experience is for you!

Program Details:

You will have the opportunity to meet once a week for accountability and growth.
Our discipleship groups are either in a one to one format or conducted in groups of three. Both provide an opportunity to spend time with others who want to invest in you!
Flexible meeting times – you set the time together that works for both of you.
Materials will be provided. You and your mentor work through them together so everyone can have the opportunity to grow more deeply in your life with Christ.

This is a faith filled experience that will change your life!
