In these days, HOW we pray may be every bit as important THAT we pray. Prayers shaped by fears can eventually dwindle to cries for no more than our own survival. How will we choose to pray and seek God during these times, in this new year 2010???

Our prayer, as the staff of First Alliance Church, is that we would be a people passionate about the work of Christ in our city – New York City. That we would be a people passionate about seeking the face of God above all else, and that as a result we would be a people that are fully transformed for His Glory and for the sake of His Kingdom.

Join with us for the next 40 days as we focus on “praying toward His promises” for our city. We are going to be using the prayer guide that WayMakers creates each year for this specific purpose. Each Sunday we will cover one of the six areas we will be praying though during those 40 days.
